"I gave this taxi company 4 stars because they were very late. I called ahead for the taxi to arrive at 11:15, it did not come until almost 12:30. I had to call the taxi company to check on there whereabouts and the operator said she would have the driver call me back directly. The driver called almost 15 minutes later. I was told there was some sort of mix up with the phone number. When I inquired about her ETA I was told she was just leaving and should be picking me up in about 15 minutes. When she didn't show up 20 minutes later I called the company back. Again, I was told the driver would call me shortly. This time I was told there was a mix up with the pick up address and did I still want the taxi, she could be there in 10 to 15 minutes, I said yes. Once again the driver did not show up in the allotted time frame. This time I called her directly. She answered to say she had to stop and get gas; she hadn't realized she was low and that she would arrive in 8 to 10 minutes. She did finally arrive about 15 minutes after that last phone call. The driver was apologetic and polite when she arrived. She was friendly and talkative during the short trip. She was also very accommodating when I had to change my drop off location. All in all it was a pleasant trip once it got under way."

"A strange way to do business. When the driver arrives early to a pre-booked pick-up and then leaves before the appointed time because he does not get a response to a call…and then refuses to take the re-booking. Happily, Unique Cab has a 24h service and a more customer-oriented service, that will serve them better m the forthcoming recession."

"After calling and waiting for a cab for about an hour I decided to call back. I was told that the driver showed up and I wasn't there. Told him I was and they said it was going to be another 20 minutes. It was ANOTHER hour. They never showed up and I had to call Unique, they showed up in 25 mi utes. Don't waste your time with Lancaster City Cab."
