"I lost my iPhone in a cabride from Newark Airport to Manhattan mid-February 2025. Fearing it forever lost, I never the less contacted the Newark Taxi Commission and spoke with Inspector Harvey. Mr. Harvey patiently took my Fare Sheet and contact information and said that he'd attempt to track down the cab driver. Three days later, upon arrival back at the Airport, I was told by Taxi Dispatcher Emmanuel Clerveus that my phone had been found and would be returned to me within a few minutes. As if by a miracle, Taxi Agent Rajubhai Patel met me and handed back the phone. I am so grateful for the courtesy and professionalism shown by the Newark Taxi Commission and the three gentlemen who assisted me. Many thanks to everyone. Job well done! "This afternoon, I was in Cab No 210 fro m Broad Street to 16th Avenue. The driver was going to charge me $15.00 from Penn Station to 16th Avenue. He did not put his meter on and has the audacity to try to overcharge me. I only gave him $5.00 because I told him in his face that I will not pay $15.00. If he were to try that with someone else, he would've been shot or stabbed."
