Classic Taxi

"On 11/25/23 one of their drivers that they claim are independent contractors slammed into my new to me 2020 f150. This driver was not paying attention to the road infront of him and literally ran into my fiance going about 65 mph on 78 when my fiancé stopped for the traffic ahead of him. It’s been months and the driver never reported it to insurance. Which left me unable to get a rental leaving me without a car for 5 months when I have a medically complex infant who needed to go to a hospital 2 hrs away every two weeks! and when I called the company to get this settled they told me the drivers should have insurance for it were pretty much telling me it isn’t their problem, gave me some insurance that wasn’t valid LOL,he called my insurance demanding we pay, we pay for someone who slammed into us totaling our car aka he probably doesn’t have insurance. So next time you think about getting in a classic taxi think about your life and safety and also the people on the road. If they cause the accident they believe they are not at fault or their uninsured drivers are at fault and unfortunately you probably won’t see a dime from it cause they don’t have proper insurance (thankfully I have full coverage) so I’m sure they’ll have to pay 🤪. But They would’ve killed my fiance if he wasn’t driving a pick up truck that day. So if you value your life and time and money don’t get into any of their taxi cabs."

"Three years ago I rated Classic with 3 stars. I have however seen a notable improvement not only with punctuality but even dispatchers are friendlier than before. Unfortunately although I'm happy with their service now, I wanted to emphasize that I've had these past drivers. For example the ones who want to over charge, the one to mumble to himself when you give out a certain destination and the sarcastic ones. Overall, I'm impressed with the change. I've had some awesome drivers too during the few years I've utilized this cab company. I hope they keep it that way or get even better."

"I get classic regular every time I get it they try to rip me off one guy tried to charge me 50 dollars for a 20 dollar ride. Another guy charge 25 dollars for a 15 dollar ride and both was talking in Spanish say how the was going to charge me more and I’m not going to know enough is enough. One guy kept playing with his phone trying to get a radio station while driving almost crashed on my Birthday. Maybe it’s time to go to uber.. and today the driver tried to charge me more for a 8 dollar ride I use to tip now I don’t I may have to report this.."
