Yellow Cab of Tampa

"Customer service was average it seems only one Indian woman answering the phone she did apologize casually about the taxi not showing up when I called back after almost an hour to see where the driver was because I had to get to the hospital . I was just told to hold on the line as she reached the driver and said their 30 minutes away & they’re not going at all .I just hanged up and attempted to drive my self and just parked in the driveway and called the ambulance. I also had a family member waiting in Tampa by the airport and their ride was canceled twice trying to arrive and drive me but that didn’t happen. GOD BLESS! 60bucks turned into a 900$ bill"

"Beyond unreliable. I called on behalf of a guest and was informed it would be approximately 20 minutes. Past 20 minutes, I called again to ask for an update and was informed that the previous person cancelled the request and they were looking for someone else. This guest had to be somewhere at a certain time. No one reached out to update me so that I could find an alternative for the guest. Seriously just use Uber. That's what I had to do, pay for the guests Uber out of my own pocket so he could get to where he needed to go in time."

"This guy, look it could be the fact that I was tired, just got off a flight, anyways 100% got swindled and by the looks of the ratings online — I’m assuming this review won’t be taken seriously by the company anyway but wanted to make sure this was at least documented. Came out of the Airport, stated I need to go to the Tampa Airport Marriot. How far is that, he says it’s right outside the airport. We get there — I realize he brought me to a different Marriott. I tell him, he says no this is the only one. I was like nope the one we are staying at is damn near in the airport — without missing a beat he says oh yeah well there is one in the airport… what? He drives me and my whole family back and then hops out and says “it’s going to be $30 since we had to drive there and then back..” I took the L, paid the $30. But wanted to make sure I spread awareness of this disgrace of a business. Definitely UBER. Don’t get a ride from these people."
