"Do not get ripped off by this scam of a cab company. There is a guy outside the Miami International Airport acting like he works for the airport and he has you line up for a cab. We went 5.9 miles to the Marriott Courtyard Airport West hotel, were charged for 7.5 miles (the cab never waited anywhere) and $43.53. This included a $3 toll when the cab had a toll pass. I would HIGHLY recommend any other ride service like Uber or Lyft. The BBB is my next stop reporting this fraud company preying on visitors. Their fare posted on the cab is misleading AND missing numbers/letters. They charge for every 1/6 of a mile? What?! Also, see that 30% sign in the window? That states there is a 30% surcharge for riding in an SUV. Which we did. But the guy is rushing you in line at the airport because of the people waiting behind you so you don't see this. Incredible that this airport allows all this to happen right in front of their doors. Fyi, "Springs Cab" also goes by "Miami Taxi Services". Two names, same scam. The cab driver responded exactly how the owner of this company responds to these reviews: "Take Uber, cheaper". Great advice. EVERYONE will."

"The fare to the airport was 3x as expensive as Uber and we had the most dangerous cab driver I have ever seen. Our vehicle had constant beeps for a check engine light and smelled awful. The driver (James) was looking at his phone texting the entire time and was swerving over the line and nearly caused 2 accidents. He never used a turn signal and he reached 90mph in a 65 at one point while straddling 2 lanes."

"I wish I could give zero stars. We had just gotten off of a cruise, and the line for rideshare was a little lengthy. But in hindsight, we probably would have waited less than the amount of time the cabby added slow rolling the meter to Fort Lauderdale airport. The fare was $135 total, with tolls. While on the ride I checked Uber prices: basic would have been $32, XL would have been $40, and the luxury would have been $60 and taken us less than 35 minutes instead of the hour! Our cabbie never went over 36 mph, whether that was posted speed limit of 55 or 65. And there was no traffic delays anywhere on our route. Avoid Spring Cab, and more specifically SUV 1055."
