"I just completed training at Tampa Truck Driving School, and I want to give a big shoutout to all the instructors and staff. Phase 1 – Miss Nikki was hands-on and extremely helpful in the classroom. She made sure we understood everything, especially the pre-trip, and really set us up for success. Phase 2 – The maneuver training was excellent. My instructor was awesome and explained things in the best way possible. Israel in particular was amazing—he broke everything down clearly and made sure we had the skills we needed before moving forward. Phase 3 – All of the instructors were fantastic. They worked with me patiently and gave me the confidence to pass my test and get on the road. Overall, the entire Tampa Truck Driving School staff deserves credit. Everyone is supportive and wants to see you succeed. My only tip for new students: bring bug spray! The gnats and mosquitoes out there are no joke."

"I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their CDL in the Tampa Bay area! TTDS gives you the tools, training, and support to succeed. They have plenty of air conditioned trucks to learn in that are all manual (No license restriction!), all instructors are experienced & provide the resources to get your CDL. Full financing, no credit checks, they even offer housing near the school! If you’re looking for an accelerated course that will allow you to quickly obtain your CDL & have immediate job placement within a little less than 2 months; TTDS will do just that! From my experience you must complete the 3-4 week course, Mon-Fri 6am to 6pm, before finally taking a state exam at the school. First week is obtaining your permit, the remaining weeks are hands on with the trucks. My tuition cost principal sits at about $6.2k as a fully financed student (I did not elect to use their housing). Interest rate is about 11%. The carrier you select will typically give you a pre-hire letter and place a $1500 deposit toward your tuition, as long as you stick with the carrier for a minimum of 6 months after school is completed. Your carrier will also make monthly payments alongside you when you begin driving for them. By my estimate, my loan will be paid off within a 12-month term after graduation — and in my opinion, that’s a fair agreement. Beyond financials, the staff/instructors will push you to rise to the challenge while still being human, helpful, and genuinely supportive. Everyone is dedicated to seeing you win.
